DONATIONS have been flooding in to a charity shop which was targeted by burglars who even helped themselves to a cup of tea while they were on the premises.
The HeraldExpress reported last week how Rainbow Raisers, of Marlowes, Hemel Hempstead, had only opened a day before staff discovered it had been burgled last Wednesday.
The crooks stole £100 and caused £150 worth of damage.
But since our article last week, donations of up to £50 have poured into the shop, which funds the work of the Dacorum First Credit Union (DFCU).
The DFCU provides loans with cheap interest rates to help people manage their finances in the best way they can.
