An electrician, who has spent almost 20 years collecting remote-controlled petrol vehicles, has had around £6,000 worth of his rare vehicles snatched.
Clive Rogers, of Adeyfield, Hemel Hempstead, discovered thieves had broken into his council-rented garage last Monday.
They took six vehicles, including two monster trucks, a yellow Porsche, a model made from alloy, a remote-controlled plane, boxes of spare parts, two engines and controllers.
Now Clive, 44, is appealing for information to help track down his prized possessions and is offering up a cash reward.
“Hemel is quite a small place and some of the car shells are quite unique,” he said.
“I know people think it is just a hobby but I built them up over the years.”
Anyone with information about the break-in or sees the remote controlled cars being offered for sale should contact police on 101, quoting crime reference D1-12-7061.
