DRIVERS across Dacorum are paying more for their fuel than in neighbouring towns and we want YOUR help to take the fight to the suppliers.
As previously reported in the Gazette there is an unfair difference in fuel prices faced by drivers compared with prices in nearby towns like Watford, Luton and St Albans.
This disparity has regularly been as much as 5p for unleaded petrol compared with fuel pumps less than 10 miles away, forcing motorists to either pay more for petrol or travel further to fill up at the pumps.
We now want your help to help drive down fuel costs and stop drivers in Dacorum from being taken for a ride.
This week marks the start of the Gazette campaign to get pumps in the area charging a fair price for fuel, matching neighbouring prices, and while the difference may be smaller this week we want to stamp out any unfairness before they are hiked up again.
Pick up a copy of this week’s Gazette, out now, to see the latest fuel differences and find out how you can join in.
