HEALTH chiefs are handing out free vitamins to pregnant women and new mums to encourage a healthy start to the new year.
If you are pregnant or breast feeding, have a child under four and are claiming benefits, you could get free vouchers to spend on milk, fruit and vegetables and vitamins.
The vouchers can be worth from £3.10 a week upwards depending on the number of children you have and whether you are pregnant.
Free vitamins are widely available in health centres and children’s centres across Herts.
