The first exhibition of the year at a town centre art gallery is about to draw to a close.
Outside Comfort features work by Simon Brewster and runs until Saturday at The Upstairs Gallery, above The Way Inn in Berkhamsted High Street.
The pieces on display include sculptures of trees made from leaflets that banks use for marketing – a protest against cutting down trees to create the leaflets in the first place
Gallery curator Joanna Bryant said: “We are not motivated by commercial reasons and we are supported by a charitable trust.
“That enables us to show exhibitions that might not be commercially viable, but will be really interesting to people coming to visit the gallery.”
The gallery, open from 10am to 4pm, showcases work by artists in the area. Learn more at www.upstairsgalleryberkhamsted.co.uk
