Keech’s Children’s Service is set to receive more than £20,000 from ITV’s Text Santa campaign.
A share of the £5.2 million raised by the Christmas show has been donated to Together for Short Lives, which supports 49 children’s hospices including Keech Hospice Care.
It is not yet known exactly how the money will be spent.
Keech chief executive Mike Keel said: “We are thrilled that the funds raised from Text Santa will benefit families from Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes who care for a child with a life-threatening or life-limiting illness.”
