Staff at Herts County Council’s highways contractor Ringway have been taking part in a ‘shwop shop’ event to recycle unwanted clothes and help those living in poverty around the world.
Shwop boxes for the project, run by Marks and Spencer and Oxfam, toured Ringway’s depots including Kings Langley and collected eight full bags for charity.
Ringway’s Matthew Kelley said: “We are delighted to support this project and encourage our staff to recycle their old clothes rather than throw them away into landfill.”
