Two people were taken to hospital last night after a rush hour crash in Redbourn.
Police, firefighters and paramedics were called to the accident in Hemel Hempstead Road shortly before 6pm.
Two cars were involved and one person had to be cut free from their vehicle.
A woman, aged in her 40s, was taken to Watford General hospital, along with another casualty.
East of England Ambulance Service media officer Richard Dunne said: “Neither casualty is in a serious condition.”
