Dacorum’s new top cop has urged people to get in touch if they see something suspicious or not quite right.
Chief Inspector Glen Channer said: “Please don’t feel you can’t report anything suspicious. Phone us if you see something that doesn’t look right or you have worries about someone being the in the area that shouldn’t be.”
He added: “Dacorum is a safe place. You are never going to eradicate every crime but we are continuing to drive it down and with the help of the community we can continue to do this.”
He also wants householders to sign up to the police Online Watch Link (OWL), which allows officers to send out crime alerts and advice to homes via email. Find out more at www.herts.police.uk
