A driver who died after his car plummeted through a children’s play area has been named as a father from Kings Langley.
Graham Phillips, 51, was declared dead at the scene of the accident in Park Street Lane, St Albans, after paramedics were called there at about 12.30pm on Monday.
In a statement, his family say: “In memory of Graham Phillips, best loved father, brother and son – the greatest friend anyone could ever know.
“Loved and respected by all who have known him, missed dearly by us all.”
The blue Mitsubishi Shogun Graham was driving came off the road and went through a park before coming to a stop on a railway embankment.
No other vehicles were involved and no one else was injured.
