A woman who is about to embark on her seventh consecutive Midnight Walk says this will be the most poignant as her dad passed away last year.
Christina Meddeman, of Hetchleys, Hemel Hempstead, enjoys making new friends during the overnight fundraiser for the Hospice of St Francis.
She said: “This year, I’m not daunted by going on my own again as I know I’ll have a fabulous time and I want to do the walk in memory of dad. The Hospice of St Francis is a great organisation to support and I’m happy to walk and contribute my own money for the chance to make a difference.”
