Firefighters were called to a Hemel Hempstead farm after a bonfire got out of control.
Crews were called to Westwick Row in Leverstock Green just before 9.30pm on Thursday and used hose reels to reduce the blaze.
People at the farm, who were armed with water hoses, were then left to monitor the fire overnight to ensure it did not flare up again.
Firefighters left the site at 10pm.
