A 13-year-old girl aims to become one of the youngest participants in a 54-mile cycling race.
Entrants to the London to Brighton Bike Ride on Sunday, June 16, have to be at least 14 years old – and Grace Elvins’ birthday is on Thursday, May 30.
Mum Fiona Clain said: “She just scrapes in age-wise – making it a huge achievement for someone of her age.” Tring School student Grace, of Boswick Lane, Dudswell, has been training with dad Stuart, who is a member of the Tring Cycling Club.
She will be met at the finish by all her family – even granddad Alan Clain, 91. She is taking part to raise cash for The Hospice of St Francis in Northchurch. Sponsor her at www.justgiving.com/Grace-Elvins
