A woman with alopecia who launched her own range of wigs is using her business to support a children’s cancer charity.
Sam Barnes, who grew up in Bovingdon and launched her TANGLED Wigs series in Hemel Hempstead this year, has created a special range for Wig Wednesday next week, with 10 per cent of her profits going to CLIC Sargent.
The day aims to raise awareness and funds for the charity, and Sam wants more schools and businesses to take up the idea.
Sam said: “I got involved with because this is such a super idea. Not only is it raising money for a great cause, it also helps change the outlook about wearing wigs.”
