Schools have been shouting about what their pupils have been up to in recent weeks.
Six lucky youngsters from St Luke’s Special School in Redbourn got to meet paralysed athlete Claire Lomas as she crossed the finishing line in London at the end of her latest challenge.
The sportswoman visited the school while cycling 400 miles to raised funds for Spinal Research and The Nicholls Foundation.
Pupils got to join celebrities such as Gary Lineker and former Spice Girl Mel C at the London Eye to watch determined Claire complete her challenge.
Elsewhere, Berkhamsted School has been celebrating its 125th anniversary.
There has been a balloon release, performances and fundraising for the school’s chosen charity - Education for All Morocco.
At total of 500 red, white and blue balloons were released over the rooftops of the Kings campus in Kings Road watched by the pupils and staff of Berkhamsted Girls, Berkhamsted Prep and Berkhamsted Pre-Prep/Haresfoot.
Adeyfield School put on an impressive performance of the popular musical Grease.
The famous couple Sandy and Danny were played by Larna Dorma and Luke Keele, while The Pink Ladies were played by `Holly Goodwin, Leah Hammond-Clay, Molly Bayliss, Corol Jones and Elizabeth White.
