A charity dog walk in aid of two local charities raised more than £2,000 following the sponsored outdoor event.
Mark Mayho, who owns Herts Canine in Gadebridge, organised the five-mile route through the Ashridge estate and called on dog lovers to walk their waggy-tailed pals en masse.
The great turnout resulted in a total of £2,338 being raised, which was split between Appledown Dog Rescue in Eaton Bray, Bedfordshire, and the Hospice of St Francis in Northchurch.
