A series of alcohol thefts from a Northchurch store has prompted police to release CCTV images in a bid to capture the culprit.
The first shoplifting incident happened on Wednesday, June 19 at around 9.30pm when a man entered the Tesco Express store on High Street, Northchurch. He is believed to have put alcohol in his basket before leaving the store without paying, and heading in the direction of Cow Roast.
One week later at 2.15pm, the man is thought to have taken a bottle of wine and then make off without paying.
The third incident happened an hour later, when the same man is believed to have re-entered the store and swiped more alcohol.
PC Tom Colvin, based at Berkhamsted police station, said: “Do you recognise this man? We believe you may have vital information which could assist our investigation.”
