People concerned about proposals to build 900 homes, a school and doctor’s surgery on Green Belt land in west Hemel Hempstead can now have their say on the controversial plans.
Opposition to the planned LA3 development, due to be built between Chaulden and Pouchen End Lane, has started with the formation of the West Hemel Action Group, who saw around 130 people at their third meeting last month.
A public consultation on the proposals is to start on Monday, July 15. From this date, anyone can view the information and take part in a questionnaire online.
On Monday, July 22, a public exhibition will be on display at Warners End Community Centre from 1pm to 9pm. Councillors from Dacorum Borough Council, who drafted the plans as part of a 20-year scheme of redevelopment, will be available to respond to questions.
Information can also be viewed at the Civic Centre on Marlowes from July 23 until August 12, from 8.45am to 5.15pm Monday to Thursday and 8.45am to 4.45pm Fridays.
