Dog owners will have a chance to get their pooch pals checked by animal experts and chipped for free as part of a new initiative.
Dacorum Borough Council is teaming up with the RSPCA and other animal welfare organisations to offer free health checks, free microchipping and free poop scoops, in a bid to encourage responsibility among dog owners during Animal Action Week.
All events will run from 9am to 4pm, with the first being on July 23 at Berkhamsted Sports Centre.
The second is on July 24 at Pixies Hill car park, Hemel Hempstead, and the third is on July 25 in High Street Green car park, Adeyfield, Hemel Hempstead.
