A crafty seamstress is offering upcycling classes to mothers, daughters and teens throughout the summer holidays.
Mary Anne Robbins of Sewing Seams Easy will show you how to transform your clothes using needlecraft.
She said: “You don’t need to be accomplished – I want to show people that sewing isn’t scary.”
The mother and daughter sessions are held at Dar Papillon cafe in Berkhamsted from 9.30am to noon on Fridays, and cost £25 including coffee and cake.
Sewers are asked to bring their own sewing machine if they have one, and one or two garments to upcycle, or with fabric, pattern and thread to make something new.
The teen sessions are held on Thursdays between 2pm and 4.30pm, and cost £10 including tea and cake.
