AN inspiring young teenager has passed away following a brave battle against cancer.
Geoffrey Gower, 14, died peacefully at home after fighting the disease for more than four years.
He had been a keen fundraiser throughout his illness and was known for his upbeat approach to life and his heart-warming smile.
Geoffrey’s funeral will take place at St Marks Church at John F Kennedy School on February 21 at 1.15pm, before his burial later that afternoon at Woodwells Cemetery.
It is asked that family flowers only be placed at the site, but donations can be made to Geoffrey’s chosen charities – Keech Cottage Children’s Hospice, Iain Rennie Grove House Hospice and Indee Rose Trust.
Cheques should be presented c/o Dignity Funeral Directors, 29 Stoneycroft, Warners End, Hemel Hempstead, HP1 2QF.
