A rubbish blaze saw firefighters called into action on Monday evening.
One fire engine from Hemel Hempstead went to the blaze at Tattershall Drive in the town just before 8pm.
Firefighters discovered a pile of rubbish next to a block of garages well alight.
They used one hose reel to put out the flames and left just before 8.30pm. The cause was logged as doubtful or deliberate.
