A man from Hemel Hempstead who sparked a missing persons investigation after not being seen for three days has been found, police have confirmed.
David Bunting, 30, of The Spires, was discovered safe and well in the town yesterday evening.
Paula Thomas, whose husband is Mr Bunting’s employer, said on Facebook: “David has been found, a little dishevelled but is with his family safe.
“He was found locally, a bit worse for wear, but safe with his mum, thank God”.
The rally of support on Facebook that Ms Thomas received when she posted onto a popular community Facebook page with details of Mr Bunting’s situation helped to spread the word about his disappearance after police made a public appeal earlier in the day.
Police say they would like to thank the public and media for their help.
