A group of youngsters are taking part in a 24-hour Harry Potter film marathon in a bid to raise money for local charity The Hospice of St Francis.
Local members of the National Citizens Service – aged 16 and 17 – aim to raise a minimum of £576, which is how much it costs to provide palliative care to one patient for an entire day.
As well as the sponsored film-a-thon, the group will be car-washing and collecting for donations in Asda’s Watford branch on Sunday and again next Friday.
