A Hemel Hempstead supermarket has teamed up with Age UK Dacorum to help set up a cognitive therapy club for dementia sufferers in the town.
A COGS club is already being piloted by the charity in Tring but organisers hope to roll the idea out across the borough.
In order to begin fundraising for a Hemel Hempstead club, Sainsbury’s Woodhall Farm has launched a poetry competition with the theme ‘When I’m 64’.
Entrants must be under 12 and winners will receive a prize. Enter in store or by post at Age UK Dacorum, Half Moon Yard, High Street, Hemel Hempstea, HP1 3AE. Entry costs £1 and the closing date is August 31.
