A cosmetics store is encouraging shoppers to get loose-lipped for a good cause this bank holiday weekend.
From tomorrow until Monday, The Body Shop in the Marlowes Shopping Centre will be collecting kisses in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust, which offers treatment and support for young people with the disease.
For every kiss, made by smooching a piece of paper using the store’s Colour Crush lipstick range, 50p will be donated to the cause by the company.
So far The Body Shop has raised £250,000 for the trust and aims to double this total by the end of the year.
Store manager Claire McLoughlin said: “This is an amazing charity which helps to make a real difference to the lives of young people with cancer. Come join in the fun in store this weekend and pucker up!”
