A supermarket is offering customers the chance to have an important health check for free until Tuesday.
Shoppers at Sainsbury’s Apsley Mills, on London Road, will receive 100 free nectar points when they have a cholesterol test in store as part of a wellbeing campaign by Flora Proactive.
Those taking up the offer, available during usual store opening hours, will also receive a free guide to managing cholesterol including a results booklet.
Store spokesman Clare Williams said: “It is free, and it is a great opportunity to check out your cholesterol and learn about keeping your heart healthy. It’s an incentive to think seriously about the risk of heart disease.”
After Tuesday, customers can get a full health check including cholesterol and blood pressure testing as well as a BMI test for £9.
