An accountancy firm in Berkhamsted is among the first in the area to launch its own free mobile app.
Stewarts Accountants, in High Street, Berkhamsted, has designed the app in response to growing use of smart phones and mobile devices by clients.
Chris Stewart, co-owner of the business with his wife Esther, said: “We like to think we are a proactive firm of accountants, so developing an app with some really useful features for our clients seemed a natural extension of our service. It will benefit us too as it allows clients to take a photo of business receipts, which are emailed direct to us either at the time or on a monthly basis. It also keeps a log of business trips using built-in GPS technology in smart phones. And of course it’s free.”
The Stewarts Accountants App can be used to calculate tax on certain company cars, check tax or Stamp Duty costs or even arranging meetings. The app is available from the Apple App store or for Android from Google play.
