A community movement has gathered momentum and now has about 750 people signed up to it.
B-Hive’s popularity was boosted during a recent event at Berkhamsted Civic Centre.
Spokesman Bex Plenderleith said: “We recorded hundreds of ideas about how the site could be potentially redeveloped with the community’s interests at its heart.”
B-hive aims to lobby the powers that be to give people that live in Berkhamsted more of a say about how it is developed in future.
B-hive will now put together the ideas it collected about how the civic centre should be developed before presenting them to, among others, the building’s owner, Dacorum Borough Council.
