A 17-YEAR-OLD driver has died after crashing his car into a pylon.
The young man was airlifted to St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington after the accident at the junction of the A251 and Newground Road near Tring just before 8am on Tuesday.
One fire crew from Berkhamsted and two from Hemel Hempstead arrived just after 8.10am and cut the man out of the black Renault Clio.
He was airlifted to hospital with serious head injuries at around 8.35am and police closed Newground Road and London Road.
