An early-awaited Advent Fair has been hailed as a huge success after drawing bumper crowds.
The Rudolf Steiner School fundraiser featured craft and wellbeing stalls and refreshments including a chocolate fountain, a bagel bar and a continental café.
There was live music everywhere on the Kings Langley campus and renowned storyteller Danyah Miller gave a performance of I Believe In Unicorns by Michael Morpurgo.
One classroom was transformed into an Alice in Wonderland-themed Cookie House, and to enter through the tiny wooden door adults had to be given a ‘shrink me’ potion by the Mad Hatter.
A session of laughter yoga, a Santa Claus grotto and a gem mine where children could dig away and find treasure were also big attractions.
The school’s parent teacher body hopes to have raised a large amount for the school and have expressed their gratitude to staff and pupils who gave their time generously.
