A new club boss is promising Hemel Hempstead revellers the biggest New Year’s Eve party in the whole of the county.

Olly’s Bar and the Function Rooms have joined forces to offer a joint venue party that will kick off at 8pm and carry on until 4am.

More than 1,000 people are expected to pass through the bar and club doors during the evening, with tickets costing just £15.

Function Rooms general manager and Olly’s Bar marketing chief Ryan Pennell said: “We are expecting a full house because it is quite a big event with a lot of acts.”

On the big night a new music room will be unveiled at Olly’s Bar in Marlowes. The upstairs space will play host to local live acoustic acts throughout the evening.

Downstairs, in the bar’s main area DJ Luck and MC Neat will be manning the decks with house, garage and chart music being played.

At the nearby Function Rooms in Waterhouse Street, which opens its doors at 10pm, downstairs will be dedicated to music from the 90s and two members from pop group S Club 7 Bradley McIntosh and Paul Cattermole will perform.

Upstairs, in the club music room, there will be 90s dance anthems, house, urban and chart music with electronic music group Ultrabeat performing.

Ryan said: “We have got quite a lot going on.

“It is one ticket and that gives you a wristband on the night so you can go back and forth between both venues all night.

“There are four rooms and guests can go through all four rooms all night until 4am.”

An early bird discount deal that released 100 tickets for sale at £10 sold out within just a week and many more full price tickets have been sold since.

They can be purchased online by {http://WWW.NYEHEMEL.CO.UK|clicking here} or for the same price on the door on New Year’s Eve.
