London Midland has become one of six train operators in the UK to be awarded the Investors in People Silver Award.
The company’s Geraldine Goddard said: “This investment ensures that we have the right employees with the right skills.
“This enables us to improve the service we give to our passengers.”
The operator introduced controversial fare hikes last week and has been slammed by Dacorum commuters for late, poor and overcrowded services.
