IS your company’s team as good as you like to think it is?

Hertfordshire County Scouts are sponsoring a fund-raising way of finding out with a major corporate charity challenge in April.

The event at Phasels Wood Activity Centre, Kings Langley, on Friday, April 27 will take the form of a Crystal Challenge.

Teams of six will have to win crystals at a number of different bases.

Devised by the team at Phasels Wood, it will use several of the permanent activities at the centre, including crate stacking, climbing wall, caving complex, high ropes, archery and shooting.

The variety of bases will allow every team member to have a go at something that they would like to try.

Roger Sands, vice president of Hertfordshire Scouts, said: “It’s a great opportunity for companies and charities to get a team together and have a go at some of our activities for a fun day and raise some money of us, and their favourite charity. We are looking forward to a great day’s fun and a good crowd.”

The entry fee for the major high impact corporate challenge day is £1,000 from each team, and entrants can then obtain sponsorship for their particular charity of the year or special good cause.

The price includes refreshments, lunch and tea, and qualified supervision of all the events.
