PATIENTS and users of health care facilities are being urged to come forward to assist their GPs in buying the services they need.
GPs, who will soon become responsible for buying health services on behalf of local people under the Herts Valleys Clinical Commissioning Group, have established a Patient Involvement Strategy.
It aims to include carers, residents and community groups in decisions about the way services are purchased on their behalf.
The group wants to hear from patients registered with any GP in Dacorum who wants to have their voice heard and influence decisions
People can get involved by contacting Heather Aylward at hvccg.patientnetwork@nhs.net or on 01707 369788.
