A HOMELESS charity wants a great turnout for its final fundraiser as The mayor’s charity of the year.
Dacorum Emergency Night Shelter (DENS) has had a number of events with mayor of Dacorum councillor Gillian Chapman, which have so far has raised £12,000.
The charity is hoping that Rock the Night Away with Mr Kite’s Benefit Band at Deans’ Hall in Berkhamsted School on Saturday, April 28, will boost the amount even more.
DENS chief executive Andrew Liversidge said: “Raising £12,000 is a great achievement and will really go a long way towards helping the many vulnerable individuals who come to DENS for support.
“We deeply appreciate the support we have received from the mayor, as well as from councillors and officers at Dacorum Borough Council.”
