A village warden who had thousands of indecent images of children on his computer was found dead in a lane on Friday.
Kings Langley parish warden Derek Dallison was found dead in Barnes Lane in the village.
The indecent images were found when his computer was confiscated by Herts Police as part of a fraud investigation in January.
He was released with no further action by the fraud investigators but Norfolk Police have confirmed that they were investigating Dallison for allegations of child abuse dating back to the 1980s.
