A VILLAGE jubilee party took in £10,000, a meeting of Little Gaddesden Parish Council heard on Monday.
The event on Tuesday, June, 5, included historic tours, fancy dress, children’s shows, maypole dancing, performances, garden tours and tug-of-war competition.
Now £4,000 of the cash will go to the Parent Teacher Association of Little Gaddesden First School in Church Lane.
Another £4,000 went to independent stalls working during the event, and the rest of the money will be given to Northchurch-based The Hospice of St Francis.
