THE hunt is on for a man wanted in connection with two armed robberies.
David Payne, 28, from Typleden Close, Hemel Hempstead, is being sought by the police who are appealing for information from members of the public.
The first robbery took place at off licence Dawn 2 Dusk in The Heights, Hemel Hempstead, at around 10.25pm on Thursday, May 24.
A member of staff was allegedly threatened by the offender with what appeared to be a small handgun, who then ran from the scene taking stolen cash with him.
No-one was injured during the incident.
A second robbery took place at The Old Stables in Miswell Lane, Tring, at 8.35am on Saturday, June 2.
It is alleged the offender threatened a member of staff with a knife before running from the scene, taking an amount of stolen cash with him.
Once again no-one was injured during the robbery.
Anyone who has seen David Payne, pictured above, or has information on his whereabouts is being asked to call Herts Police on non-emergency number 101.

Members of the public are being advised to not approach Payne but to call the police immediately.
