Hundreds of people enjoyed the buzzing atmosphere at the auction rooms where television cameras filmed an episode of BBC Two’s Antiques Road Trip.
Popular Tring Market Auctions usually attracts 600 to 800 people to its Saturday general sale but there was even more excitement with onlookers and buyers at the Brook Street salesrooms enticed by the filming.
Television antiques experts James Braxton and James Lewis arrived in a classic 1952 MG and brought 11 items to sell.
Office manager Karen Hearn said: “It was great. One of the main reasons we let the cameras in is to attract new customers and some people come because they want to be on television.”
BBC cameras will return this Saturday to film Flog It!
