A man has been taken to hospital after falling down two flights of scaffolding in Hemel Hempstead.
The injured man had been working on building repairs in Dickinson Quay when he fell at around 2pm.
Fire crews from Hemel Hempstead and Watford attended the scene, before the man was taken to Watford General Hospital.
East of England Ambulance Service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “The man, believed to be in his 40s, fell approximately 20 feet from a scaffolding structure to a floor below, injuring his arm and shoulder.
“Paramedics climbed up the structure to treat, stabilise and administer pain-relieving drugs as the man was in considerable pain before he was brought down to safety with the assistance of the fire service.”
