Comet staff still in the dark

Administrators called in for struggling electrical store Comet are unable to say what the future holds for the Hemel Hempstead store.

The troubled firm, which has been hit hard by the uncertain economic climate and slower consumer spending, called in Deloitte as administrators late last week.

But a spokesman for the firm could not say what will happen to the 25 staff at the Comet store in Apsley Mills.
