Bin collections are back on today (Wednesday) after snow and ice forced refuse workers to abandon their rounds earlier this week.
Crews are out collecting today’s green bins and recycling boxes as normal.
A Dacorum Borough Council spokesman said: “If the pavements or roads are too icy and we are unable to collect your bins by the end of today, please put your green wheelie bin out again in two weeks’ time. Your recycling boxes will be collected next week.”
A team are also out picking up missed grey bins and recycling from last Friday, which they will try to complete by the end of the week.
For those who usually have their bin collection tomorrow, householders are asked to put their green bin and recycling boxes out and crews will do their best to collect them.
A spokesman said: “If we don’t manage to get to you, please take them back to your property and we will collect your green bin in two weeks’ time and your recycling boxes next week.”
