Roads in the Woodhall Farm and Grovehill areas of Hemel Hempstead have received extra funding for improvement works.
The boost of £3,085 has come from councillor for Hemel Hempstead North East Colette Wyatt-Lowe, who allocated the sum from her annual £10,000 locality budget, given to every member of Herts County Council.
The funding will go towards the county’s highways services and help with a number of projects scheduled for the area.
Councillor Wyatt- Lowe said: “The locality budget scheme has helped tackle many of the road and footpath problems residents have brought to my attention.
“This will fund several small-scale projects which will make a big difference to people’s lives.”
