A television and film extra has published his book five years after writing it, thanks to modern technology.
Despite not using a computer himself and handwriting the novella over three months Tim Thomas has published his page turner as an eBook.
The Century Club is a Brit gangster tale about two pals who take on the ownership of a social and boxing club.
Tim, who lives in Cotterells, Hemel Hempstead, used inspiration from his time working as a doorman and his visits, as a keen keep fitter, to various gyms in the area.
He likens it to the hugely popular Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and hopes that it will one day be made into a film. “I do a lot of film extra work and floating around the film sets I thought the main thing is the writers because without them nobody works,” he said.
“It is quite fruity with the language but, as my friend said to me, life is not like The Archers.”
However, Tim, 43, who has appeared in EastEnders, Holby City and The Bill, hopes to one day write something that his mother can read. Go to www.Amazon.co.uk and search The Century Club.
