Police are on the lookout for graffiti vandals after they targeted several trees in Gravel Hill Spring in the space of a week.
A number of trees in the ancient woodland adjoining the Gravel Hill Allotment Gardens, near Warners End Road, were targeted by the offender or offenders.
Each was found with a distinctive spray painted ‘tag’ or symbol.
PCSO Daniel McManus from the Hemel Hempstead Safer Neighbourhood Team said: “This kind of behaviour is vandalism and those who perpetrate this may find themselves facing criminal damage charges.”
Hemel West police team have tweeted an image of the graffiti in an appeal for people to come forward.
