A wannabe filmmaker has secured enough funding to begin production on his first silver screen project, but is now on the hunt for extras.
Mike Graham from Berkhamsted is appealing for people in Dacorum who want a walk-on role in his short film Without Eve, which focuses on a man struggling to cope with loneliness on New Year’s Eve.
The film will be shot almost entirely in Berkhamsted and the surrounding areas.
Mike, who has managed to secure 23 per cent of his ideal budget through online sponsorship, said: “I’ve got the main actors and locations sorted and I’m looking to begin shooting at the end of this month, but I am still in need of some extras to make it happen.”
The former online retailer has got Terminator sound editor Elizabeth Barnard on board, and hopes to enter Without Eve into international film festivals once it is completed.
