The chairman of Tring’s Play4All has been given the Robert Jones Environmental Award.
The accolade, named after the former West Herts MP who died in 2007, was presented to Doris Begg at the town’s annual meeting on Monday.
The award was made to recognise Play4All’s renovation of the Mortimer Hill playground.
Mayor Nick Hollinghurst said: “It is well-used and a great improvement on what was there before.”
