KEEPING lively kids happy is all in a day’s work for mother and daughter team Ann and Joanna Stack.
The pair have just taken on a children’s entertainment franchise that sees youngsters enjoy an exciting new activity creating magical sand pictures.
Now HeraldExpress readers can win a Kids Bee Happy party for up to 10 children and as an added bonus every competition entry will qualify for a 10 per cent discount on a party booking.
The sand art is great fun for children aged between two and 12 who can create amazing pictures by sprinkling brightly coloured sand onto sections of a specially prepared card. Their work of art is then laminated on the spot and a plastic hook is attached so that it can be taken home and proudly displayed.
Ann, of Crown Walk, Apsley, said: “It is lovely to see the children’s beaming smiles when they are so proud of the finished result.
“The activity is ideal for any event or venue where children need to be kept happily entertained, anything from at home birthday parties to wedding receptions, nurseries, schools and fetes.
“Costs are very reasonable and depend on how many children are catered for. An added bonus is that the specially designed equipment makes it virtually mess free.”
Joanna said: “Mums are always looking for different ideas for birthday parties and this is very new to the UK though it is already very popular in other countries such as Australia and South Africa.”
Little ones can try out the activity at the Olde Red Lion pub in Nash Mills on Monday, February 13 when a half term Kids Bee Happy workshop will run from midday to 4pm.
