A teenager was left with a broken jaw when he was attacked by a gang and ordered to hand over money.
The 16-year-old boy was walking home when he was chased by three men as he approached the junction of Broadfield Road and Adeyfield Road in Hemel Hempstead on Sunday, May 19 at around 11.15pm.
As the teen handed over cash he was punched in the face by one of the trio.
One of the group stayed with the victim to help him find his glasses whilst the other two walked away.
Det Con Caeva Taylor said: “This was a nasty and unprovoked attack and we are determined to find those responsible for this crime.
“I am particularly keen to speak to a man and a woman who were sitting under a tree very close to where the incident occurred. If this was you, I would like to stress that you are not in any trouble but you may have vital information which could assist us.”
